Frequently asked questions
Is recurrent training the same as revalidation?
No. Recurrent training is the ongoing training operators are required to deliver under Part-ORO.FC.230 to keep their pilots current. It complements but does not replace the annual LPC or OPC.
Can I use recurrent training to prepare for my LPC?
Yes. Many freelance pilots book recurrent training in the weeks before their LPC to sharpen non-normal handling, low-visibility procedures and CRM under simulated line pressure.
Do you cover UPRT?
Yes. Upset Prevention and Recovery Training scenarios based on ICAO Doc 10011 and EASA UPRT syllabus are included, with emphasis on high-altitude and start-of-recovery techniques specific to fly-by-wire aircraft.
Do you deliver Evidence-Based Training?
EBT-style sessions can be built into the syllabus for operators that have adopted or are transitioning to the EBT programme. Discuss objectives at booking.
